The expression “personal information” refers to information or an opinion about an identified individual, or an individual who is reasonably identifiable (a) whether the information or opinion is true or not; and (b) whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not. You consent to and authorise m-View to transfer your personal information to an organisation or individual outside Australia. m-View will only transfer personal information to a foreign country for the purpose of providing you with the services of m-View and for carrying out any request you make when you use and interact with the Website (for example, if we outsource the platform or data storage to a cloud service provider).
 
Your personal information may be transferred overseas if you are accessing the Website from a country outside of Australia.
 
If m-View sells all or part of its business or makes a sale or transfer of all or part of its assets or is otherwise involved in a merger or transfer of all or part of its business, m-View may transfer your personal information to the party or parties involved in the transaction as part of that transaction.

Management and Security of Personal Information
 
m-View takes reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure. We use a Verisign Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt all sensitive data transferred to and from your computer when making an online transaction. SSL is the industry standard for the transmission of credit card details. When looking at the url, if it starts with https:// that means all the information you enter will be in a secure and protected environment. After each transaction, your credit card details will not be stored on our server. Additionally, all transactions via the Website are managed through the Stripe secure payments platform.
 
We cannot and do not guarantee that your personal information will be protected against unauthorised access or misuse or abuse. We do not accept any liability for the improper actions of unauthorised third parties.
 
In relation to the internet, while m-View uses reasonable efforts to safeguard the privacy of your personal information, transmissions made by means of the internet cannot be made absolutely secure. m-View assumes no responsibility for disclosure of data due to errors in transmission or by unauthorised third parties.

Our privacy policy does not apply to information acquired by third party websites accessed via the Website. m-View assumes no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of linked websites or any other third party website. m-View also assumes no responsibility or liability for third parties such as advertisers or other entities who utilise banner ads and links from the Website. If m-View refuses to provide you with access to personal information about you, m-View will provide you with reasons for the refusal, in accordance with the requirements of the Act

We will take all reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal information that we hold. This includes taking appropriate measures to protect electronic materials and materials stored and generated in hard copy.
